Fatima Denton of UNU-INRA has recently completed her journey to Germany. The three-day trip offered an opportunity to meet with members of academia and government in Bonn and Berlin. As UNU-INRA director, Fatima Denton went to Germany to discuss the role the United Nations University, Institute for Natural resources in Africa on the continent.
The UNU-INRA Director spent two days in Bonn to promote UNU-INRA’s research interests amongst research entities in the area. She spent time conversing with researchers from Innovation Bonn Campus, the German Academic Exchange Service and the German Development Agency.
After visiting with academics in Bonn, Fatima Denton went to Berlin to meet with members of the German Government, to discuss the need to deepen the relationship between Germany and UNU-INRA. She met with policymakers that are responsible for the environment, climate policy and relations with Africa.
