The speaker for the 8th seminar in the UNU-INRA 2012 Seminar Series will be Dr. Ekeoba Matthew Isikhuemen of the University of Benin. The topic of his presentation will be “Resolving Institutional Impediments to Foster Rehabilitation of Threatened and Under-Utilized Rainforest Flora in Southern Nigeria”.
Admission is free and open to the public. The presentation will be followed by a reception.
Dr. Ekeoba Matthew Isikhuemen is a lecturer in the Department of Forestry and Wildlife, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Benin (Nigeria) and a Visiting Scholar at UNU-INRA. Dr. Isikhuemen has over 30 years of experience in forest resources management as well as in the conservation and rehabilitation of rainforest species and ecosystem in South Nigeria.
